The history of Bromley Car Repairs

Bromley Car Repairs opened its doors back in 2007, since then successfully growing into what and who we are today.

Steve Spooner started Bromley Car Repairs after coming back from spending some time in Australia. Renting out a small unit at the back of Bromley council yard, hiring his first employee just 6 months in. 

With a quick growth, Steve soon realised that Bromley Car Repairs was outgrowing their first home and had to move into somewhere fast. Which is where part of our garage still proudly sits.

Napier Road led us to specialising in vehicles in the VAG group such as VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda, which we still specialise in today.

With our personal customer service and continuous community support, we again outgrew the garage and expanded into an already existing garage called Amos & Rushbrook, situated on Masons Hill. This garage was previously used for building Lola racing cars back in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The perfect place for our expansion, holding so much car history.

This shortly turned into our main garage, holding our reception and where we carry out all our MOT’s, servicing and repairs while our Napier Road garage is now mainly used for diagnostic work and larger jobs, as well as our customer parking. 

The team here at Bromley Car Repairs has grown with each move and we are proud to offer a unique service for all of our customers. The core values of our business are to create a welcoming space for everyone, while giving each customer the time and support they are looking for, gaining trust in each person that walks through our doors.
